Description

Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Barnet
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

Devising lesson plans based on curriculum guidelines where appropriate.
Leading classes by giving lectures, demonstrating tasks, assigning tasks, and encouraging discussions.
Encouraging student participation and performance
Supervising students while they complete tasks independently.
Answering student questions
Setting homework or exercises for students to practice their skills after class.
Developing and marking examinations to measure students' progress.
Assessing and reporting on students' academic achievements and behaviour

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in English Education or a related field.
Teaching certification/license
Proven experience teaching English at KS3-KS5
Strong knowledge of the English Literature & English Language
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

The right to work in the UK.
Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
Is a patient and approachable individual.
Has positive communication skills.
Has a passionate for student development.
Ideally experience in a school setting( Not mandatory)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
