    Salary and benefits: Up to £80,000 dependent upon experience plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

    The role
    • Your primary focus will be supporting the delivery of reinsurance solutions for our Retirement Solutions business including supporting the team on the live deal pipeline, sourcing and assessing reinsurance (flow and facultative) to achieve optimal outcomes and supporting deal execution in a structuring and project management capacity
    • Performing analytical analysis to check the commercial viability of prospective longevity swap and funded reinsurance transactions and making recommendations on strategy to maximise chances of success
    • Supporting the negotiation, documentation and governance required to on-board new arrangements including ensuring all relevant risks are appropriately managed and controls are operated
    • Enhancing and embedding streamlined processes and delivering efficiencies across all reinsurance activity
    • Expanding reinsurance capabilities and supporting strategic projects. Engaging with senior internal stakeholders and taking them along the journey where new developments are necessary
    What We're Looking For
    • Strong knowledge of the insurer balance sheet, BPA market and pricing dynamics with previous experience in a reinsurance or DB de-risking capacity
    • Experience in structuring and executing transaction and strong commercial acumen
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment to tight deadlines
    • Excellent communication, time management and stakeholder management skills
    • Strong data wrangling capabilities along with the ability to perform longevity experience analyses
