    Up to £30k, depending on experience

    Company Overview:

    Are you ready to be part of a dynamic Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in the heart of West Sussex? Our client is dedicated to providing top-notch IT support solutions to a diverse clientele.

    I am seeking a dynamic Field Engineer to join my client's team based in Lancing. The role involves providing onsite support, installations, and helpdesk backup, ensuring the clients receive exceptional service. Regular travel within a 2-hour radius of Lancing is required, both by road and rail.
    Provide onsite support and installations for desktops, laptops, and IT equipment.
    # Backup the helpdesk when not onsite, assisting customers over the phone.
    # Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
    # Support Microsoft Office suite and 365 products.
    # Basic support and administrative experience with Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange.
    # Configure firewall/router settings and troubleshoot network issues.
    # Maintain detailed job records and accurately document support tickets.
    # Work collaboratively as part of the helpdesk team, assisting with ticket management.
    # Proven experience in 1st and 2nd line technical support.
    Experience in onsite hardware and software installations.
    Excellent written and verbal English.
    Full UK driving license.
    Ideally, at least one Microsoft certification module.
    Some flexibility to work from home after probation period.
    Limited onsite parking available.
    Physical fitness required for unloading deliveries and own van.
