Our client, an agency which specialises in creating and organising global events, is looking for Client Account Manager to join their team.

The main responsibility of this position will be to support the London-based sales team as they sell their meetings andevent space, providing prospective clients with event solutions that meet their needs, responding directly to client enquiries, and closing business opportunities.


Responsibilities:


  • Attend meetings (online and inperson) with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements, ensuring all necessary information is collated prior to you producing a solution/quotation/proposal with support from production management andoperations.
  • Work with Operations, Production Managers, Platform Architects, and Event Technicians to develop event solutions; organising, planning, creating, and delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations.
  • Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes.
  • Ensuring solutions and products stated in the Statement of Work are best practice (ie within the current business offering) and in line with client requirements.
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure successful closure of business.
  • Liaise with our inhouse team of Production Managers and Operations Director to provide feedback from clients and prospects about product requirements, client feedback, and product optimisation.
  • Maintaining and updating the company's inhouse CRM and providing all necessary information to ensure the handover from proposal signoff to the project management team is accurately and comprehensively completed.

Essential Skills:


  • Minimum of 4 years' Account Management experience within the events industry.
  • A clear understanding of what is required to deliver Events both live in person and online.
  • Experience of putting together powerful, compelling, and clear event solutions and presenting these to prospective clients.
  • Strong client relationship management skills to enhance the client relationship and grow the business.
  • Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and looking to accelerate your career in events.
  • Commercially savvy.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • A relationship builder. You'll think 'client first' but you effectively manage expectations.
  • A passion for continuous learning and feedback.

Desirable Experience:


  • Ambition to help grow the business.
  • A desire for personal growth.
  • Strong interest in the media and/or digital technologies.
  • Knowledge of Event, Live Streaming and/or TV Broadcast terminology.
