- Technical Support: Provide technical, boots on the ground guidance and support to the project team on all engineering-related matters, including surveying, setting out, and interpreting design specifications.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify compliance with specifications.
- Site Management: Assist in the coordination of on-site activities, including subcontractor management, material procurement, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including engineering drawings, reports, and records of work carried out. Ensure all documentation is organized, accessible, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address technical issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process. Develop and implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions and keep the project on track.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Understanding in engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD, GPS, and Total Station.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
