SEN Teacher in a Special Needs School

Contract:
Full-Time role with potential to go on a Permanent Contract

Location:
Enfield Borough

Salary:
£120 - £200 per day

We are now currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to join a Special Needs School within the London Borough of Enfield.

The SEN Teacher role will be a contract role till the end of the academic year with potential to be offered a permanent contract.

The role ill be to teach a class of 9 students at a pre-school start who all have a diagnosis of ASD and have severely delayedcommunication and learning.

There will either be parking available nearby but certainly a local bus route or train station nearby London Borough of Enfield.

All schools will have a long-lasting relationship with RT Education, therefore you may be offered a contract with the school or a permanent position once you have proven yourself.

Teaching a group of 9 students who all have a diagnosis of ASD and have severely delayed communication and learning.
Preparing lessons and resources supporting all areas of child development.
Supporting the children with complex needs to a high level of care.
Adapting different training methods to suit each child's specific needs.
Providing a safe learning environment for the children to progress in.
Creating structural planned days for the children and staff members to follow.
Using visual materials and other support aids to support the children.

Person Specification

Have experience as a SEN Teacher.
Need to have a high level of understanding of Autistic Spectrum Needs and SEN.
Have an enhanced children's DBS (we can put one in place if you do not have one)
High behaviour management skills.
Flexibility.
Excellent organisation skills.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Being an excellent communicator.
Have a sensitivity and caring approach towards the children and act accordingly towards each child's needs.
Ability to work alongside other teachers and parents.
