Position: SEN Teacher Location: York, Contract: Full-time/Part-time
Your Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of students with special needs. You will have the opportunity to:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the unique learning requirements of students with special educational needs, differentiating instruction to ensure inclusivity.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), setting clear learning objectives and tracking progress.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, to create a holistic learning environment that nurtures each student's social, emotional, and academic growth.
Utilize various teaching strategies, resources, and assistive technologies to enhance student engagement and participation.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture, promoting independence, self-confidence, and a love for learning among students.
Regularly assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and working closely with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative approach to education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
