We have an exciting opportunity to gain experience as a Band 6 Junior Sister post for 6 months in our busy infectious diseases unit.
We have an 18 bed unit, with 2 Trexlar beds and a busy out patient department.~ You will be redirected to Trac to apply for the vacancy. Help manage an 18 bed infectious diseases unit, supporting the band 7 on the unit .
~ Maintaining high standards of nursing care.
~ Leading the team to ensure quality service delivery.
~ Act as role model, teacher and supervisor for junior staff, students and associated roles.
~ Delivering care to patients with acute and chronic infectious diseases On a 18 bed unit .
~ Supporting the Senior Sister acting as a deputy in her absence providing effective support and leadership to staff, patients and carers within the ward/department, focusing on providing high standards of care, patient safety, infection control, a clean safe environment and effectively manage nursing resources.
