Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the UK launch strategy and recruitment plan working with key stakeholders across the Group
  • Leading recruitment processes to identify key UK hires
  • Develop and deliver a UK business development plan
  • Undertake necessary business development trips, meetings, and thought leadership to generate new business, both individually and in coordination with the law firm
  • Act as Director on client SPVs and other key functionary roles
  • Agree and deliver on annual revenue and expense budgets
  • Continual market review to identify potential new service offerings and working with the relevant service line heads to implement
  • Provide strong leadership and management to the UK based team
  • Reinforce the Group Vision and the use of lean management/continuous improvement tools to support sustainable, incremental business improvements
  • Develop content for relevant policies and procedures and wider Knowledge Management utilising the existing infrastructure

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Whilst the role will require an indepth knowledge of UK corporate services from and Operational Director perspective, a particular specialism in either Debt Capital Markets, or Real Estate would be a particular advantage
  • A proven track record in the role of a jurisdictional or service line lead
  • Experience with leading and implementing significant strategic projects
  • Excellent collaboration skills through strong stakeholder management
  • Demonstrable generation of income growth through market strategy and BD activity underpinned by a strong client network
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead a strong motivated team by providing guidance, feedback and day to day direction underpinned by a strong people network
  • Selfdriven, confident and willing to take on responsibility with the ability to keep resilient under pressure
  • Knowledge of the UK regulatory environment, with experience of liaising with the relevant regulators
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate and communicate with internal and external customers through verbal and written formats
  • Practical experience of managing high performing teams and office management
  • Good understanding of LEAN/Six Sigma and/or general continuous improvement tools
