- Help manage the patient clinics.
- Perform HFA, I-profiler, and OCT testing on patients during the clinics and at other times to suit the patients.
- Assist with pre-operative assessment of patients prior to cataract surgery.
- Ensure Medical Records and kept as per protocol.
- Ensure privacy dignity and safeguarding of all patients.
- Checking VA.
- Carrying out visual field testing, biometry, OCT scanning and corneal topography.
- Experience/competency in the testing of patients with specialised ophthalmic equipment.
- Experience in health and social care.
- Preferably have an NVQ qualification.

We are looking for an Ophthalmology Technician to join our team at Cambridge Hospital and play your part in building a healthier nation. Our Ophthalmic Consultants are very busy and require several tests for each patient at their clinic appointment. We would like to provide them with some assistance in performing these tests and running the clinics.
