    Location/remote:
    Waltham-on-the-Wolds/remote (may be the odd occasion required on site)

    Contract length: 12 months


    Hours:
    Part-time. This can be 3 full days or half days across the week


    Pay rate:
    £15.50-£16.50ph PAYE


    Randstad Sourceright, a global provider of Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Managed Services Provider (MSP) solutions, is currently offering a highly desirable opportunity for a Data Analyst on a 12-month contract.

    Overview


    As part of the product performance team, you (the data analyst) will support and execute data science projects across all product performance (consumer, product, sensory etc) data to advance product performance capability and knowledge.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop an understanding of performance data to maintain and support key analysis and reporting solutions.

    Support data cleaning task to ensure data is of high quality for future reporting.

    Interface with multi-disciplinary teams and key capabilities in R&D and champion high standards of data quality and data-driven decision-making

    Perform standard established analyses for product performance tests

    Troubleshooting where there are issues and errors. Works with team to define problem to solve

    Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of product performance data, including maintaining reporting dashboards

    Prepare data for reporting including data reformatting

    Creating support materials, ensuring all work is properly documented and up to date.


    Key skills:
    This role would be perfect for someone who has recently graduated, possible doing a PhD in a related field

    MSc in maths/statistics, computer sciences or related fields

    Ability to communicate complex scientific messages to a variety of audiences.

    High drive for results and an ability to work with limited support.

    Experience working with Power BI or Tableau would be an advantage, but not essential

    Experience in data preparation tools such as Alteryx would also be beneficial but is not essential
