JOB DETAILS
A structural warranty provider seeks a Building Inspector to manage construction of varied residential build types across Plymouth and Torquay.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect construction / conversion of properties to achieve compliance with latent defect insurance standards
- Provide quality assessments, report on defects, structural faults and recommendations to clients
- Schedule own workload and ensure efficiency during site visits
- Record inspections and relay findings to customers as required
- Advise the underwriting team on technical queries
- Balance insurer and client expectations
Requirements:
- Relationship management
- Problem solving capability
- Foundation to completion site experience
- Existing structural warranty risk management surveying experience preferred
- Degree/ NVQ Level 6 qualified
- RICS/CABE/CIOB/ICWCI membership desirable
