Purpose of Position

Key Responsibilities

u Providing guidance to the team and review team outputs on General Partners and external valuation reviews for reporting and audit purposes

u Providing valuation technical support (including industry trends and regulations) and resolving ad-hoc queries from the PVC and other Pantheon Teams

u Preparation and review of PVC materials and provide support for Portfolio Data & Valuations from time to time on the more complex valuations (e.g. investments with provisions, debt investments, etc.)

u Attendance at PVC meetings to present valuation materials and provide input and support for ad-hoc queries

u Managing external relationships with third-party valuation firms and auditors

u Overseeing the audit planning process, provide support and analysis to external audit teams and assisting with the management of the annual audits relating to valuations

u Assisting the Vice President, Fund Finance - Valuation Analytics with the implementation of new strategies, development of the valuation process building efficiencies and focusing on continuous improvement

u Assisting the Vice President, Fund Finance - Valuation Analytics with reviewing and managing outputs and deliverables provided by junior members of the team

u Assisting with the updates of Pantheon's valuation memorandum at least once a year, and developing new valuation policies for new product launches

u Review the daily private capital valuations for daily NAV funds

u Provide guidance on investment setup, information rights, and potential valuation challenges on new investments where required

u Provide valuation support, where requested, from clients and other Pantheon Teams, in a timely manner

u Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and Pantheon policy (including reporting compliance risks and maintaining appropriate standards of conduct

Knowledge and Experience Required

u A degree with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis preferred

u A Level Maths or equivalent is essential

u Progress towards a CFA, CEIV, ASA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent designation preferred

u Private Credit valuation knowledge is essential

u Minimum 5 years of valuation, accounting, or auditing experience required, especially relating to private equity funds/ illiquid investments and/or company valuations

u Good knowledge of global fund and corporate vehicle structures

u Experience in analysing General Partner valuation reports and ability to prepare financial models (e.g. discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction)

u Strong understanding of valuation methodologies including good understanding of best practice valuation techniques under IPEV/US GAAP for level 3 securities

u Performing valuation analysis on a wide range of illiquid investments broadly distributed across industries and geographies while using accepted and relevant approaches and theory

u Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skills

u Strong knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

u Experience of working in a busy team with tight deadlines
