- Assist in the review and assessment of In-Service and Build changes in relation to submarine training.
- Coach/Mentor junior members of staff to deliver TNA iaw the DSAT QMS (JSP) 822
- Expert knowledge of DSAT compliant training deliverable outputs
- Completion of DSAT (or equivalent) training courses in: Training Design.
- Broad understanding of the Royal Navy Submarine Service.
- Experience in Royal Naval Submarine Service training.

Role description
The Principal Engineer (Training Services) provides subject matter technical expertise for the conduct of training analysis for the Royal Navy submarine service and BAES business units. Activities will be undertaken working as part of a team, with the support and guidance of the Engineer Manager (Training Services). The duties of the role will require initiative and skill in discharging the training tasks whilst offering guidance in a positive manner utilising professional training skillsets to produce consistent, quality and coherent training outputs.
