College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine / Deanery of Clinical Sciences / Centre for Cardiovascular Sciences

Fixed Term Contract:
Part Time - 18 Hours per Week


Fixed Term Contract until July 2025


We are looking for a responsible individual to join our lab support team three days a week (Wednesday to Friday).


The Opportunity:

You will have the responsibility of day-to-day housekeeping duties in the labs of the Centre for Cardiovascular Science. These tasks include essential waste management, restocking of labs and managing deliveries.

You will also be assisting the lab management team and have the opportunity to support researchers in the CVS tissue culture and research labs.

The ability to work in a physically demanding environment is essential. All appropriate training will be provided.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • School education to standard grades or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of, and ability to apply, Health and Safety procedures in the workplace
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to follow instruction
  • Familiarity with standard IT equipment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
