- Ensure, through the maintenance team on site, there is efficient and effective planned and reactive maintenance at all times and that downtime is minimised
- Liaise with the wider site management team and ensure issues are communicated, priorities and actions are understood, and updates are provided to your team
- To assist operations on completing a weekly/monthly maintenance schedule for all planned, unplanned and emergency work orders
- Drive and lead solutions to prevent reoccurrence of maintenance issues on site
- Assist in mechanical and electrical plant upgrades as assigned by Lifecycle Team Manager to ensure CLEER/Capex forms are completed on time and effectively Essential criteria for the Maintenance Supervisor role:
- Electrically and mechanically trained, with time served experience working in a production environment, fault finding and diagnostics, reactive breakdown repairs, planned maintenance work orders
- possess a diploma or HNC/HND/C+G Electrical Engineering, HNC/HND/C+G Mechanical Engineering (or industry equivalent)
- Born leader with the ability to build and maintain strong, cohesive relationships at all levels
- High energy and positive attitude
- Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance
- You will ideally have experience working within the waste industry, but experience in other process based industries such as waste water, manufacturing, quarrying etc would be considered What do we offer you?
