Are you looking for a new challenge to start after the summer holidays? Perhaps a new school, year group or different area of SEN.

At DegreeSix, we specialise solely in SEN and have many roles available to suit everyone

We work with many different schools across Leicestershire who need great people to support their pupils.


I'm currently recruiting for full time Teaching Assistant to work Monday to Friday each week between the hours of 8.30am - 4.30pm at an independent SEMH school in Bottesford.

You would either be working 1:1 in the school's Nurture Hub which will involve working with very challenging behaviour at times.


Ideally, you'll have experience of working as a teaching assistant for children with special needs, within a similar role such as a support worker/youth worker or have studied similar topics.

But we can consider experience from all areas if you are confident, enthusiastic & passionate about working with children.


What you will need:

  • 2 checkable references
  • DBS on the update service (we can help you obtain this)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Be available full time from September 1st 202
  • Due to location, driving is essential
  • To be reliable and able to commit fully to the role
  • A great personality
