    Description
    KPJ Group are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join chemical distribution company at their site based in Glossop.

    The candidate we are looking for will possess prior experience operating as a mechanical fitter and will have served time as an apprentice.

    Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

    • Overtime available 1.Annual pay increases
    • High Street retail vouchers
    What will you be doing as a Mechanical Fitter?

    • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics
    • Assembling and disassembling mechanical components and machinery
    • Installing mechanical equipment, such as pumps, motors, and valves
    • Aligning and adjusting mechanical components to ensure proper operation
    • Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery
    • Troubleshooting mechanical problems and providing solutions
    • Fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical components
    • Performing regular maintenance on mechanical equipment
    • Experience operating as a mechanical fitter
    • Trained as an apprentice
    • Chemical experience (desirable)
