- Assisting with the assembly and manufacture of goods and equipment, such as flight cases and speaker cabinets, using a variety of wood/metal working skills and equipment. Air drills, Riveters, HVLP Paint Spraying, Wall Saw, Table Saw and General Power tools will all be used.
- Responsible for safe working practices within the department, including the correct operation of tools, equipment and the use of guards and safety clothing.
- Monitoring of stock levels and informing management if they fall below operational levels.
- Maintain the filing system for drawings, cutting lists, jigs and assembly information.
- Assist with the unloading and storage of incoming materials.
- Ensure end of shift shutdown procedures are carried out.
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- Keen interest in fabrication/DIY
- The ability to read and understand design drawings.
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Salary £20,000 to £22,000 per annum depending on experience.
