This role will be responsible for data analytics to establish deal construction, analyse the business return on proposed strategic initiatives and assisting with customer negotiation either directly or via supporting the sales team with sound commercial models to underpin their customer discussions.
To support the National Sales Director for RGC and Sales Management to drive commercially focused initiatives to ensure RUK continues to increase overall profitable growth, margin and market share.
Responsible for the development of a commercial model for new or existing Business opportunities to grow revenue and margin.
To evaluate new opportunities with sales teams and to articulate Ricoh offerings to maximise profitability and minimise any potential risks.
To assist the sales teams interface with the Legal department on negotiations and concluding statement of works.To partner sales with customer presentations, providing commercial insight on large deal and lead on financial negotiation to exploit all potential revenue streams.
To assess and proactively support the tracking and managing profitable Sales pipeline.To work with annuity team to ensure profitable growth of annuity Business, through pricing review and development of potential opportunities
Lead on constructing robust and successful Business proposals that secure new Business and long term customer relationships
To engineer commercial proposal for development of new ventures and partnerships, to grow market share in PP/CS and CF division.
Provide guidance and management to sales teams to ensure deals are commercially viable are in line with Tender requirements and financial information to win new Business.
To work closely with new the Sales and Deal Architect team to grow revenue and customer base.Responsible for due diligence to ensure all the regulatory and statutory obligations are met.
Proactively contribute to meet financial and performance targets to achieve overall Organisation's mid-term strategy.
Work proactively and in partners with Finance for compliance in all financial reporting supplied.
To develop strong relationship with Regional and National Sales Directors to ensure highly productive SME team working through the Business development and contract negotiation cycles
To work with Sales Leadership to ensure cost base is below targeted budget
Responsibility for the annual and periodic financial forecast, and ensure it is in line with Business performance
To work with the Commissions team and ensure all the pay-plans are in line with Business goals with liability against budget and validate application of these pay plans to sales people via the monthly commissions process
To demonstrate the ROI on incentives and support sales management of value add incentives.
Educated to degree level or hold Business experience – professional financial qualification will be an advantage.
Proven record of commercial experience, in a customer facing role and a comparable size organisation.
Experience of production printing commercial roles (desirable/not essential)
Ability to manage complex commercial negotiations with customers & advising our Ricoh sales team
Strong financial reporting and data analytics experience.
Experience of understanding and developing cost models and commission pay plan.
Ability to interpret and present financial information in a Sales environment.
Strong compliance and governance posture to support sales in writing compliant business
Flexible attitude and a team player, able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
Possess strong leadership qualities.
Proven track record of achieving goals/targets with projects value of circa £20m+
IT literate including intermediate to advanced Excel.
