Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding and impactful role in education? Look no further We have an exciting opportunity for you to join one of or Birmingham primary schools as a 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant.

As a Teaching Assistant your role will be crucial in providing one-on-one assistance to a specific pupil with special educational needs, helping them thrive and reach their full potential.

Position: 121 Teaching Assistant
School: An Ofsted Goodrated primary school in Birmingham
Friendly and Supportive Team Environment
Hours: Fulltime, termtime only

As a Teaching Assistant your responsibilities include:

Assisting a specific child on an individual basis, both within and outside the classroom
Implementing personalised learning plans and adapting your teaching methods to meet the unique needs of the student
Motivating and encouraging the pupil to actively engage in their learning journey and get the most from each day
Regularly monitoring the pupils progress and providing valuable feedback to the class teacher and parents/guardians
Collaborating with the school's staff, including teachers, SENCOs, and fellow Teaching Assistants, to ensure cohesive support for the student
Supporting classroom management and fostering a positive and conducive learning environment

To excel as a Teaching Assistant in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant with primary school-aged children, particularly on a one-on-one basis
A genuine passion for education and a strong commitment to supporting every child's learning journey
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with students, parents/guardians, and fellow staff members
Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to think on your feet within the dynamic environment of a school
A positive and nurturing approach, focused on boosting the student's confidence and selfesteem
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
