About the Role:
- As a Regional Compliance Consultant, you will be allocated a portfolio of clients and you will be required to provide compliance support in accordance with appropriate legislation, principally but not limited to the Financial Conduct Authority's standardsfor insurance distributors, including consumer credit, data protection, and senior management regulation and legislation.
- Ensure that clients are kept update with relevant regulatory issues, maintaining and developing strong relationships while seeking new business opportunities and growth areas.
- Keep abreast of current issues in the financial regulatory markets, where relevant research and develop knowledge required to deliver appropriate compliance support for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including partners and thirdparty suppliers where applicable.
- Assist with the development of company material to support compliance deliverables to clients, such as review and development of templates, guides and training material when required.
- Maintain own knowledge and competency, keeping abreast of current issues in the financial regulatory markets and, where relevant, research and develop knowledge required to deliver appropriate compliance support for client firms
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a compliance role either within consultancy or for a broker / insurer is essential.
- Strong communication, time management and computer literacy skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of different stakeholders through excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to deal professionally with internal and external contacts, and ability to represent the business and with a high level of credibility.
Salary/Benefits Information:
- Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience.
