    Description
    Our Devizes based client is looking for an individual to join their team as an Assembly Engineer.

    Working to support the business with assembly of production based products the successful candidate will play a key part in the smooth running of the process from fabrication to testing to the final stage of dispatch.

    Assembly Engineer

    Contract Type:
    Temporary with the potential for permanent position.


    Start:
    Asap.

    Working from technical drawings to assemble a complete units which could include fitting guards, switches, hoses, gearboxes, motors & pumps.

    Test and fault find when required showing attention to detail to ensure that nothing is missed which would otherwise cause the units to fail inspection and test.

    You must possess good hydraulic and assembly skills within a production environment, be able to work to deadlines.
    Striving for improvements in process techniques to reduce process times and improve consistency of quality.
    Relevant manufacturing/engineering level 3 or equivalent NVQ qualification
    Experience working within a Quality Management System and an awareness of any Environmental impacts
    Flexible working principles / Ethos
    Personal qualities
    Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
    Self-motivated, flexible, proactive and committed.
