Building SurveyorWe're looking for Building Surveyors to join our ambitious team in Capita Public Service | Place and Asset Solutions.
If you have two- or three-years' experience and are looking to propel your career as a Building Surveyor, this could be the perfect position for you.
You'll support our continuing growth in the North East and North West of England, with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects, including Technical Due Diligence and Forensic Surveying commissions, across different sectors.
Our team works in a hybrid style, this being a mix of site working, home working and office working from our Manchester or North Tyneside office bases.
As well as strengthening your skills in Building Surveying and general project management, you'll get the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in areas like Net Zero and Fire Safety.

Building Surveyor Job Description:
Assist with developing detailed briefs in collaboration with the client and senior colleagues
Carry out site surveys (including measured surveys, condition surveys and defect analysis)
Assist with administering building contracts
Work on all aspects of professional surveying (including condition surveys, specific defect analysis, party wall matters, dilapidations, access audits and FRAs)
Liaise with clients, contractors and other consultants (internal and external)
BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent
Have at least 2 years' experience of advising on commercial properties either in public or private sector
Good AutoCAD skills and ability to work with new software and platforms to improve efficiency
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to demonstrate flexible approach to work and willingness to travel/stay away from home for periods as may be required.
