Open Ended Contract - Permanent: Full Time - 35 Hours per Week

The Opportunity:


This post presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly-organised administrator to join the School Office Team at Moray House School of Education and Sport.

The successful applicant will have previous experience supporting senior management, including managing diaries, resolving scheduling conflicts and clerking committees/meetings.

The School Office serves our entire School community, giving the postholder the opportunity to liaise with a wide array of colleagues and visitors in this diverse and varied role.

A positive, customer-oriented attitude and proven ability to perform well under pressure are required in this role.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and cope well under pressure
  • Excellent diary management and committee experience in a comparable role supporting senior management
  • Ability to confidently work proactively and independently within an overarching supportive team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, at ease engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent IT skills and a willingness to expand skillset as required
