    Description

    FirmOur client is a leading and award-winning global firm who are completely full-service and act as a trusted advisor on transport and logistics and international trade, through to retail, insurance, marine, health, education, manufacturing, public sector and banking and financial services.

    Role OverviewThe firm are currently looking to add to their health litigation team with a new associate to handle defendant clinical negligence claims for NHS Resolution, NHS trusts and other clients.

    Role Responsibilities Drafting reports to the NHS ResolutionInterviewing witnessesDrafting witness statementsInstructing expertsInstructing counselAttend Court for Case Management Conferences and Application HearingsNegotiating settlements.

    Holding conferences with Counsel.
    Preparing for and attending trials and mediations.

    Ideal CandidateQualified SolicitorDefendant clinical negligence experience at a NHSR Panel firm or MPS experienceAbility to work independently and as part of a growing team, in the office and remotely.

    Demonstrates an understanding of clients' needs/expectations.
