We're looking for an Assistant Accountant to assist in the delivery of budgeting, financial reporting and calculation of rent and service charge income and expenditure.

You'llsupport with other teams understanding of service charges and enabling income maximisationin respect of charges to our customers.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead the review of service charge expenditure on a monthly basis
  • Lead the review of the day to day repairs carried out in communal areas working alongside the sales, leasehold and commercial teams
  • Maintain the database of target rents
  • Help ensure the ground rent notifications are issued

What we'relooking for:


  • Experience of working in a finance and service charge environment with the ability to explain complex financial matters to nonfinancial colleagues.
  • Part qualified Accountant, actively studying towards a full qualification, with financial and management accounting experience.
  • Experience of developing and continuously improving financial systems and processes to maximise efficiency.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Good knowledge of service charge legislation.
