- Plan and implement activities for children aged 6-14, concentrating on participation, growth, and happiness, collaborating independently and with other staff.
- Assume a leading role as a group overseer, receiving new kids into your group and communicating with the Camp Manager and/or parents when needed.
- Oversee and interact with the children outside of activity periods.
- Promote the well-being of the children under your supervision continually.
- Show substantial levels of vitality, zeal, and professionalism, serving as an appropriate role model for the children.
- Ensure adherence to all camp regulations and procedures by both yourself and the children under your care, including all safety and security protocols.
- Uphold the Top Activity Camp pledge of 'Inspiring Children Every Day' and conduct yourself in a way that mirrors the company's expectations during your employment.
- Additional miscellaneous tasks (e.g., tidying up, maintaining equipment, etc).
- Prior experience working with children and leading activities.
- Capable of adapting the delivery and organization of a session based on age and skill level.
- Display enthusiasm, vitality, and a keen interest in fostering children through play and engagement.
- Effective organizational and communication abilities. Candidates must feel self-assured in guiding a group of children and not evade responsibility.
- A flexible team member, capable of adjusting to dynamic scenarios and obstacles at camp.

- Certified in or pursuing a suitable sport, art, performing arts, teaching, or childcare certification.
- Experience managing a group of children independently.
- Possess a Pediatric First Aid (12-hour or 6-hour) or First Aid at Work certificate.

The Specifics
Supervisor: Camp Manager
Arrangement: Seasonal work during school breaks.
Schedule: Weekdays from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Full season or part-time options available, with extra hours possible for individuals holding a pediatric first aid certification (typically 8 am to 6 pm).
Role Overview
The main responsibility of an Adventure Leader is to ensure the well-being and safety of the children at camp and to provide exceptional, organized activities.
With the aid of provided materials, you will be required to offer a blend of structured sports, arts and crafts, and games to kids aged 6 to 14, emphasizing on involvement, attention, and growth.
Beyond conducting sessions, team members contribute to the excellent standard of physical, emotional, and social support provided by Top Activity Camps. Our Adventure Leaders take on a nurturing role as the head of a group of children at camp, focusing on preserving well-being and supplying top-notch care.
