They will carry out planned preventative maintenance regimes as determined by the contract terms to on portfolio lift/escalatorThe successful candidate must adhere to allcompany safety and conduct procedures and Provide coverage by an on call rota for out of hours calls, maintenance and repairs.
Carry out routine servicing of lift/escalator equipment, including minor repair work and the routine replacement ofCheck the lift/escalator function as part of maintenance, checks to include, speed, motor start/stop, weight, noise,
lift/escalator and complete service documentation
and appropriate test equipment, restoring equipment to service. Carry out site surveys and attend all relevant training sessions to keep up to date on technical knowledge and skills
Work in accordance with the Companys Safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current UK legal requirements and Schindler Group safety requirements, as well as setting a personal
Experience in Lift/Escalator Servicing/ Maintenance/ Repairs preferred
Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift/Escalator maintenance or equivalent
Willingness to Work towards Schindler Certification Level 3 Red
Advanced Electrical and Mechanical knowledge, including Multi-Brand equipment
The ability to work independently with a flexible approach
Good communication skills at different levels (Client/Service Leader/Inspectors)
Full UK driving License
