    Description
    Do you have a passion for all things sweet? Want to join our team on an exciting adventure opening a new restaurant and leading a pastry section?We are looking for an experienced Head Pastry chef with a minimum 3-4 years experience as a senior pastry chef with experience in all aspects of pastry including fine desserts, afternoon teas and some bread knowledge, who is keen to be part of an exciting new and growing business called Bazaar. We are due to open in June and are looking for a creative, organised Head pastry chef to take charge.
    Responsibilities include:
    • The day to day running oof the pastry kitchen.
    • Be engaged in the business and loyal to our company values and brand.
    • Lead a positive and collaborative working environment
    • Lead a team to prepare and bake desserts
    • Lead a team to prepare and bake afternoon teas
    • Lead a team to prepare and bake pastries and breads.
    • Planning and administration
    • Rota and holiday planning
    • Record daily Health and Safety
    • Create efficient weekly kitchen rotas with the Head chef
    • Full responsibility of HACCP
    • Understanding of allergens
    • Motivate your team to ensure a high standard of production is maintained.

    We are looking for a team player who can work independently also and has a strong sense of initiative. Someone who is eager to learn and be very organised with paperwork, has a proactive attitude and excellent verbal English communication. You must have a go getter attitude and enjoy thriving under pressure, we are looking for some one to take the initiative in a brand new pastry kitchen and set their exacting standards and footprint on it.
