We have one opportunity available, London based.About the Role
You'll be expected to efficiently contribute to the Asset Management and decision making of the end-to-end delivery of the MOB's processes; from surveys through to minor maintenance and replacement activities.
You will take the lead in the asset management of MOB's, produce an annual plan identifying maintenance, refurbishment and full or partial replacement, prioritising by risk, timelines and budget and ensure expert advice is provided to the wider business.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Ensuring Cadent remain compliant with PSSR (Pressure System Safety Regulations), PSR (Pipeline Safety Regulations), Electricity at Work Regulations (EWR) control of major accidents and hazards (COMAH), Working at Height Regulations 2006, Control of AsbestosRegulation 2012, IGE/G/5 Edition 3 gas in multioccupancy buildings
- Gas safety (installation and use) Regulations 1998 and gas quality aspects of the GS (M) R (Gas Safety Management) Regulations
- Knowledge of local authority operations and procedures including the Planning Act 1990 (Listed and Conservations areas) and building regulations 201
- Evaluation of MOB asset data to assess opportunities for maintenance, refurbishment and/or replacement programme activities aligned to Policy regulations and standards
- Drive Asset data capture to ensure we have complete and highquality asset records which enable understanding of risk and condition to support asset management decision making.
- Produce weekly/monthly reports on MOB activities.
- Liaise and update Asset Strategy via MOB Committee Reduction Group
- Produce Building Management Plans for all High-Rise Buildings.
- Advise on engineering policies where required
- Ensure learning points are incorporated in revised policies and operations
- Ensure all activities are data captured in line with Policies and Ofgem allowances
- Ensure compliance with CDM 201
- Provide support to the wider team in the provision of asset expertise and advice when required
About You
You will possess the following skills, knowledge and qualifications:
- Ideally an engineering-based qualification or experience.
- You will have experience and/or knowledge in asset risk reduction techniques
- Competent in the use of standard desktop packages, i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to interpret complex technical information and data.
- Proven and demonstratable experience and knowledge of safety techniques, legislation, policy, and procedures.
- Understanding of Cadent engineering operations
- Understanding of codes of practice, engineering instructions, safety and statutory regulation
- Experience and expertise in a MOB's environment
Essential Requirements
- A full valid UK driving licence
