    Purpose of the post: To play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of Payroll operations. To administer AS Pension returns to individual's schemes and ensuring employee deductions are recorded and paid correctly. To ensure that Payroll/HR/Finance Policies & Procedures are adhered to. To assist in the implementation of existing and new Payroll/HR administration services

Our Pension and Payroll Administrator duties will be:

  • Responsible for the reconciliation of all employee and employer contributions in line with the payroll and pension providers schedules.
  • To run regular computerised reports to ensure the accurate deduction of employee and employer contributions.
  • To complete and maintain all end of year procedures as required by the various pension schemes.
  • To produce payment requests for the Finance Department, and to ensure payments of employee and employer contributions to the various pension schemes are within the prescribed deadlines.
  • To act as the main point of contact at Ambient Support for pension enquiries for various pension funds and scheme members.
  • To complete all necessary pension documentation on behalf of Ambient Support staffs who wish to leave/retire from a pension scheme.
  • To implement and maintain an appropriate system to monitor those staff in a pension scheme who are approaching retirement age.
  • To produce reports / Statistical information as required.

Our Pension and Payroll Administrator will need:

  • Experience of using a computerised system.
  • High level of interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of staff and managers in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
  • Excellent Analytical ability in collating and interpreting numerical data.
  • Ability to explain complex issues in a nontechnical way
  • To assist with payroll queries and offer back up to Payroll when required
- knowledge of Statutory Regulations appertaining to pension and payroll is desirable.
