Advisory Team Lead North

Major Tasks


CTM Manager key responsibilities (50% of time):

  • To Lead and direct the of Commercial Technical Managers within the Southern region (50% of the National business in the UK) to ensure campaigns and activities are fully implemented in line with the GTM portfolio strategy.
  • Develop CTM capabilities in the organization according to requirements for future go to market strategies, benchmarks, customer satisfaction expectations and provide appropriate support and coaching to less experienced CTMs.
  • Leads in conjunction with CTM Manager (North) the CTM input in to the GTM cross functional teams. Lead in the CTM implementation of the UK Ambition plan.
  • Responsible for resource optimization and prioritization for UK (North) Collaborating with the MD team and marketing to develop the trial programme to support the future campaigns with key portfolio.

CTM Responsibilities (50% of time):


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts as agreed in the GTM plans
  • As a member of the GTM teams, input into the development of the GTM strategy for growth portfolio
  • To influence product choice and identify new business opportunities to support the implementation of the UKI ambition growth plan
  • In alignment with the KAMs, agree focus areas for business growth with the key channel partners.
  • Key contacts. This will include farmer groups, end users, consultants, colleges etc.
  • To manage the transfer of technical information and support for Bayer CropScience products and services from Bayer CropScience to its customers.
  • To collate and compile local market data in order to provide a complete picture of the activity in all areas of the local marketplace.
  • To manage the local promotion budgets with guidance from Key Account Managers.
  • To schedule, direct and monitor field marketing/ trials programmes/demonstration events, in line with the agreed marketing plans.
  • To identify potential Business Stewardship and Public and Government Affairs issues which could impact the business.
  • To be accountable for the management and effective resolution of customer product investigations.
  • To interface and influence key farmers in the area.
  • Supporting customers during season with all technical topics related to our portfolio.

Position:

Skills:


  • Degree qualified with some years experience in the agrochemical industry and a proven track record as a CTM
  • BASIS/BAA exams Part I, II, III
  • Ability to Lead teams
  • A thorough technical understanding of Bayer CropScience products and services
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong emphasis on customer focus with an ability to prioritise effort to achieve campaign target
  • Strong collaborative and teamworking abilities.
