I am recruiting for my client based on the outskirts of Norwichto join their purchasing team.

This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of the buying and operational part of their business and join a company which is expanding and holds manyprogression opportunities.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will be Buying Administrator and daily duties will include:

  • Raising purchase orders on the bespoke ERP system
  • Placing website orders with specific suppliers
  • Keep up to date with the outstanding orders and update price increases where necessary
  • Checking order acknowledgement and acting upon as required
  • Advising the Buyer of significant price changes
  • Informing relevant parties on any delivery issues which may arise.
  • Check and book in/despatch direct orders in a short time frame.
  • Providing weekly reports on outstanding orders and sharing information with the Buyer
  • Raise monthly stock orders and maintain an eye on stock levels
  • Liaise with stock control and other relevant departments where necessary
  • Attend supplier teams meetings to assist the Buyer where necessary
  • Answer enquiries calls relating to purchasing
  • Any other administrative tasks to assist the Purchasing and Operational process where required.

Is this for you:
I am looking for an experienced administrator who has some understanding of how a Purchasing department operates.
You will need to be incredibly organised and able to manage your own workload.

Working for a small business, the need for flexibility is a mustand you will need to be a strong team player.

This is a full time, permanent position working 8:30-5:30 with an hour for lunch.
The position is working on site full time and free car parking is provided on site.
