    Architectural Metalwork Designer/ DraughtsmanBerkshireUp to £50k per annum + Travel Allowance + Bonus + Additional Pension ContributionOur client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our dynamic team.

    The ideal candidate will be passionate about design, possess strong technical skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

    As a Draughtsman, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of our bespoke balcony solutions, ensuring precision, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into detailed technical drawings.
    Utilise CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of balcony designs, considering structural integrity, aesthetics, and functionality.
    Prepare comprehensive drawings, plans, and schematics for client approval, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing purposes.
    Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather relevant information for design implementation.
    Review and revise drawings based on feedback, engineering calculations, and project specifications.
    Work closely with the production team to ensure seamless transition from design to fabrication, providing necessary documentation and support.
    Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance design processes and product quality.
    Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client consultations and presentations.


    Qualifications and Skills:
    Proven experience as a Draughtsman, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
    Proficiency in CAD softwares and other relevant design tools.
    Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a keen eye for design aesthetics.
    Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
    Knowledge of building regulations and codes is advantageous.
    Portfolio showcasing previous design work and projects is preferred.
