    Job PurposeIs to support the medical team in managing all relevant medical affairs activities and becomes a 'data expert' for the Therapeutic Area (TA).

    This support ultimately helps to ensure that the information we give to health care professionals enables them to understand the benefits and risks of our drugs and make evidence-based decisions for the good of their patients.a good knowledge of the TA related disease area, Medical Affairs, drug development, the healthcare system and ABPI code.activities and logistics as part of the Medical Affairs Plan such as advisory boards.education meetings and projectsgeneration projectswith broader team (field & Head Office) to ensure congress Medical Affairs team to leverage clinical/scientific data to support theTA franchise by reviewing promotional and non-promotional materials, to check the scientific integrity of medical plans by uploading and referencing medical educational materials in the internal approval high quality and timely briefing materials/training on relevant appropriate data and may deliver internal training as required.


    administrative support as required for example:

    management for projects and logisticsof team meetingsof itineraries and logistics for ongoing activitiesof materials and information to support any complaints process.

    oriented atmosphereedge sciencewith diverse people and teamsopportunitiesa difference to patient's livesWe are looking for an individual who can meet the following criteria:to degree level in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Pharmacy (completed pre-registration pharmacy exams)within UK healthcare and /or pharmaceuticals environment is an advantage, but not necessary.motivation and ambition to gain experience in a medical affair evidence skills which are transferrable to the business environment (e.g., good time management, teamwork) experience of successfully working with teams through work, academic and/or extracurricular activities.

    You will be able to demonstrate.– ability to work independently and proactively under own initiative, taking responsibility and driving projects and activities to a successful conclusion.thinking – can understand and use complex data and can communicate complex data to a wide range of professional and lay audiences, adapting their wording and style to suit.- manages multiple priorities well, demonstrating good attention to detail under tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise effectively.& teamwork - can develop effective relationships with team and customers, gaining trust and credibility quickly.

    Has the confidence to work with all levels and types of people, as an effective member of a cross-functional team.focused mindset - delivering high quality projects and activities to internal and external groups with awareness and responsiveness to their English - verbal and written – is be IT savvy and highly proficient with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, PPT skills and Word at Advanced Level)Additional InformationPlease ensure that you are willing and able to live within commutable distance of the company site before applying.

    This placement is based in White City in London, and we would like you to be in the office a minimum of 12 days per month, to aid your development in working with and learning from your team.
