  • Expediting Support**
    Reports To:
  • Expediting Supervisor

Job Function/Purpose:


  • Support expediting activities and provide administrative support to operations

Principal Responsibilities:


  • Communicate with customers to ensure order progress is transparent.
  • Create and update specific client outstanding order reports on a weekly basis, as standard. Also reacting to production issues on a day-to-day basis.
  • Advise any potential late deliveries to Sales Team and Customers and assist in finding a resolution with the production team and/or subcontractors.
  • Actively pursue the production team to ensure we meet our OTD commitments.
  • Actively pursue our subcontractors to ensure we receive the best service and agreed delivery targets are met or improved if required.
  • To fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow the efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development.
  • Provide administrative support to both expediting and the operational business.
  • Any other duties as required, commensurate with job description

Key Measures:


  • To maintain and improve customer OTD.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure delivery targets are clearly advised and maintained.
  • Update customer reports and systems with delivery information.
  • Ensure production team and external subcontractors maintain strong OTD performance and any potential issues are highlighted.

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
£5.28-£10.42 per hour
