    SENCO Assistant Principal - West Midlands

    Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced secondary school SENCO for an Assistant Principal job based in Sandwell, Smethwick (B66 3QB), West Midlands based school. We are looking for a qualified SENCO who would be available for a new permanent leadership post from September 2024.

    If you are an experienced SENCO, who has taught within a secondary school either available immediately or thinking of reaching out to discuss new, permanent job opportunities in the West Midlands we would be keen to speak with you.     This secondary school-based Assistant Principal and SENCO job is available on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2024 (or sooner). This school has a fantastic Headteacher at the helm who truly puts the needs of their pupils first. We are seeking a likeminded team member to join them in their journey. If you are a SENCO who is keen to progress your career into a leadership post this opportunity could be for you. We would welcome applications from highly experienced SEND specialists looking for additional responsibilities and are happy to consider applications from either a primary, secondary or SEN setting background. An informal conversation with the Headteacher and a tour of the school can be arranged for interested parties. All applications will be confidential at this stage of the recruitment process.

    In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:

    A relevant teaching qualification.
    NASENCO Qualification or substantial experience within a SENCO role
    All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
    Exceptional references.

    Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements as a first step in the process.

    Proposed start date: September 2024 or sooner
    Salary: National Leadership Scale: L14 to L18 (£65,010 to £71,729)
