Job Summary

  • Externally Focused Responsibilities - Delivery of the highest quality training and consultative based services, meeting the delivery requirements of those provided from related business development activities.
  • Internally Focused Responsibilities - Develop Maximus colleagues across a number of contracts, providing specifically targeted training & development required in line with contractual agreements. To deliver high quality and high performing services surroundingall aspects of disability.
  • Operating on a monthly basis to a consistent ratio of 70% external focused and 30% internally focused.
  • To create & establish Maximus as a recognised centre of excellence and expertise in disability training & consultancy

Essential Job Duties


External Training Delivery - Delivering a portfolio of 'classroom based' training products to the highest of quality standards and exceeding external organisational expectations - leading to repeat business opportunities.

Organisational Diagnostic Services - Confidence in providing assessment based services and provision to external organisations in understanding where best practice exists and improvements can be made


Including:
Disability Confident Assessment's,

Recruitment/Organisational Audits and ad-hoc organisational policy & procedural review/assessment. Where possible linking to Remploy's portfolio of products and services; maximising opportunities for additional commercial revenue generation.


New Products, Projects & Pilots - Supporting the wider company strategy linked to training and consultancy in the research, exploration, development, pilot/trial & implementation of new products and services into company best practice; following designatedprocedures.


Project Leadership - The skills and abilities required to enable the effective scoping and journey management of a variety of external organisational projects and purchased learning programmes to include: tailored training programmes, bespoke learning eventrequiring development and delivery, organisational audits, learning evaluation & adhoc services as they are commissioned.

Maintaining accurate records and reporting.

Linking Sales Activity & Business Development - To have knowledge, confidence and passion to seek out new opportunities for business development within designated areas, also utilising audiences when delivering on organisational sites to advise on additionalproducts, services and support measures Remploy can provide to these organisations.


Contract Implementation Support - Advise, guide, train and coach front-line colleagues in line within contractual award delivery requirements; Following best practice techniques for supporting all disabled customers.

To Maximus's defined standards, througha tailored, blended learning programme including:

Training Delivery, E-Learning, 121 Coaching/Mentoring and ongoing resource development & utilisation.


National Vocational Qualification Assessments - Delivery of Remploy's selected NVQ provisions in line with NVQ Assessor responsibilities & key performance indicators, meeting set service level agreements, timescales for delivery and maintaining NVQ Centrestandards and status.


Education and Experience Requirements

ESSENTIAL

  • Minimum - 6 years demonstrable experience of working within a disability/health related industry; preferably in the field of employment related services delivering advice, coaching and guidance to individuals and organisations
  • Mentor/coaching skills; proven record of personally delivering recognised outcomes Consultative leader that inspires belief in others by acting as a credible, professional role model
  • The ability to manage own time effectively including management of a varied workload and responsibilities
  • An adaptable and flexible approach to supporting business priorities; with the ability to travel within and outside of your regional delivery area to meet business requirements
  • Have the skills, abilities & approach with a proven track record in 'linking sales' and generation or revenue based services to deliver upon.

DESIRABLE

  • To hold a current TAP accreditation in at least 'Training Delivery' or be will to work towards as part of your ongoing role.
  • Qualified to be able to assess learners to recognised qualification standards at Level 3
  • MHFA Accredited Instructor
  • Knowledge and understanding of Government and local policy developments in the field of disability.
  • Experience of providing work based assessments/audits focusing on best practice in relation to Equality & Diversity.
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience of a range of tools, products, services and partner organisations which can complement and add value to Remploy's own service delivery in supporting people with disabilities.
  • Confidence and ability to speak/present in public arenas in their particular field of expertise
  • Member of disability related organisation such as Dyspraxia Foundation, Dyslexia Gild, National Autistic Society etc.
