    Senior Practitioner - England, United Kingdom - Women's Aid

    Description
    This is a varied and rewarding role acting as Senior Practitioner in one of our refuges in Leicestershire. You would be joining a friendly and welcoming team, working with team members to support survivors of domestic abuse.

    We offer training, additional annual leave, sick pay and an employee support package, including wellbeing days and access to counselling.

    If you are hardworking, a team player and have experience of working with vulnerable adults, we'd love to hear from you.

    1 BASE County Refuge Accommodation Projects, including Dispersed Accommodation (Leicestershire and Rutland)
    2 SALARY Starting salary £26,445* per annum
    *salary under review
    3 HOURS OF WORK 37 hours per week. Includes some evenings and weekends
    4 MAIN TASKS To coordinate support services and a programme of activities in the county refuges, and dispersed accommodation, and to manage the team of staff providing:

    • Specialist housing advice.
    • Enhanced security measures as a part of a wider package of care and support and
    • Provision of accommodation for those fleeing domestic abuse or sexual violence.
