    Pizza Chef - Seasonal (June - September)

    An exciting opportunity is available for a seasonal pizza chef to be part of the team at our beautiful coastal hotel in Thorpe Bay, Essex. The hotel is located on Thorpe Esplanade offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Estuary from all dining areas.

    Roslin Beach Hotel, an AA 4 Silver Star establishment, boasts a Two AA Rosette Restaurant with multiple accolades known nationwide. The Roslin Restaurant is the focal point of our boutique-style hotel, where our skilled team combines well-loved dishes with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

    About the Role:

    We seek an experienced seasonal pizza chef to join us during the busy months of June to September when the Garden Pizzeria is most active. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Italian cuisine, its culinary methods, and traditions. They should excel in pizza making, remain composed under pressure, and thrive in a dynamic setting. A touch of creativity paired with outstanding organizational abilities is crucial to maintaining the popular and newly renovated terrace.

    What We Expect:

    • Significant experience in a pizzeria or pizza kitchen
    • Ability to perform well under pressure and promote composure in others
    • Effective communication and collaboration with the Head Chef
    • Efficient teamwork to uphold high service standards in the Kitchen
    • Thorough understanding of food safety regulations, ensuring proper storage and usage to minimize waste and comply with hygiene laws
    • Adherence to closing procedures to maintain equipment safety and produce security at the end of shifts
    • Preferably possess NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Production or a relevant culinary qualification
