    An exciting opportunity has opened up for a skilled pizza chef to join the team at our lovely coastal hotel in Thorpe Bay, Essex. Situated on Thorpe Esplanade, our bustling hotel boasts breathtaking views of the Estuary from all dining areas.

    Roslin Beach Hotel is a prestigious AA 4 Silver Star hotel featuring a Two AA Rosette Restaurant that has garnered national recognition. Our boutique-inspired hotel revolves around the Roslin Restaurant, where our talented team skillfully blends traditional favorites with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

    About the position:

    We are seeking a proficient pizza chef with expertise in Italian cuisine, culinary techniques, and traditions. The ideal candidate takes pride in their pizza-making abilities, excels in high-pressure situations, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. They possess a creative flair and exceptional organizational skills to maintain the newly designed and highly popular terrace.

    What we expect from you:

    • Significant experience in a pizzeria or pizza kitchen environment
    • Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor
    • Effective communication and collaboration with the Head Chef
    • Working cohesively within the Kitchen team to uphold high service standards
    • Thorough understanding of food hygiene regulations, ensuring proper storage and utilization of food items to minimize waste and comply with health laws
    • Following end-of-shift procedures diligently to uphold equipment safety and produce security
    • Ideally hold an NVQ Level 2/3 in Food production or a related culinary qualification
