- To uphold fair discipline and treatment of all staff.
- To maintain up-to-date timetables, leave rosters, and attendance records.
- To comply with hygiene regulations and report maintenance issues promptly.
- To facilitate smooth communication between kitchen and restaurant.
- To oversee correct order delivery to tables and inspect dishes for quality and presentation.
- To coordinate serving of delicate dishes with dining room staff.
- To provide on-the-job training for subordinate staff and attend relevant seminars and courses.
- To expand knowledge of management practices for career progression.
