About The Role:
Falmouth University's Games Academy has an exciting opportunity for
***a

Lecturer in Game Programming to join its dynamic teaching team. It's an exciting time to be joining us as we grow as a University as we continue to offer quality-led relevant courses for students.

It is anticipated this role will include the leadership and delivery of four modules which could span multiple courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the Games Academy.

Potential modules could include 'Advanced Game Programming', 'Digital Game Technologies', 'Development Principles', and/or 'Graphics & Simulations'. You can find descriptions of these modules on our curriculum management system here.

All Lecturers are expected to engage in research and innovation, defining an individual research and innovation plan which is anticipated to align with one or more of our research programmes.

Programmes of interest might include Digital Learning, Immersive Experience Design, Data Integration and Visualisation, Content Development Pipeline Automation, Game Studies, and Technology for Health and Wellbeing.

About You:

Advanced knowledge of game programming and digital game technologies
Experience working in recent versions of Unreal engine
Understanding of how computer science and mathematics are applied to game development
Demonstrable commitment to research and innovation in a digital games technology context or a closely related context
Good connections with industry and professional practice
Excellent interpersonal skills
