The Business
Head of Finance, Durham, £60k + Bonus

Nigel Wright have been exclusively appointed to support a superb growing organisation based in Durham.
I am delighted to be supporting this client with their requirement for a Head of Finance.
This is a fantastic opportunity.


The Role

Duties will include:

  • Overall responsibility for management reporting
  • Ensuring appropriate financial controls are adhered to
  • Preparation of Monthly MI
  • Statutory compliance
  • Annual Forecasting and Budgeting
  • Cashflow projection, monitoring of and servicing of debt facility
  • Management of payroll functions and pension submissions
  • Commercial analysis input into pricing and costing
  • Annual audit and relationship with auditors
  • Banking and managing relationship with relationship director and funders
  • Assist the FD in renewing and managing insurance. Identify and address any gaps in cover.
  • Seek to drive efficiencies in the reporting process to align the timetable with investor expectations.
  • Enhance the long term financial forecast model to improve accuracy, flexibility and reporting functionality.

Criteria
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Client is open minded about sector experience.
Strong IT skills

Package
£60,000pa
Bonus
Hols - 25 days + bank hols
Pension - Employee and employer 5%
Healthcare - covering employee and immediate dependant family
Death in service - 3 x annual salary
Site based role - although this will be reviewed in time and hybrid working would be considered.
