Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public sector organisation based in North Manchester in order to recruit a Financial Accountant.

Role:

You will support the ongoing running and development of finance systems

Responsibilities;

Producing Annual Reports and Financial Statements for audit and publication while liaising with external auditors
Assisting in the preparation of the consolidated Annual Financial Statements ensuring compliance with appropriate SORPs and accounting standards
Overseeing the management of group general ledger systems, ensuring that budgets and financial data are properly recorded
Ensuring the timely production and issue of monthly management accounts, management reports and cash flow forecasts
Preparing detailed annual budgets, financial forecasts and full year outturn of income and expenditure
Assisting with the preparation of detailed annual budgets, financial forecasts and full year outturn of income and expenditure

**Person:

The successful Accountant will be**:

CCAB or CIMA qualified
You must be technically strong and worked within a financial accounting position previously
Experience within the public sector or an accountancy practice
