£16.46 per hour Umbrella

Term: 6 months

Hours per week: 36

We are seeking customer-focused officers to join our client's team, specialising in Council Tax enquiries. This role involves handling inbound calls from residents, providing clear and accurate information about Council Tax. It's an excellent opportunity for individuals who have experience in customer service and can learn quickly on the job.


Responsibilities:


  • Handling inbound calls from residents regarding Council Tax enquiries.
  • Explaining Council Tax information clearly and accurately to residents.
  • Recording and maintaining accurate and uptodate records of all interactions.
  • Escalating complex issues where necessary.
  • Assisting with general inquiries as needed.
  • Participating in training sessions as required.

Who we're looking for

Skills you'll need to bring

  • Prior experience in a customer service role is essential.
  • Knowledge and experience with Mitel is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
  • Ability to handle calls professionally and efficiently, demonstrating patience and empathy.
  • Strong problemsolving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
