- Practical knowledge of engineering and manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Sound theoretical knowledge in areas such as basic electrical theory, basic hydraulics, materials, stress & strain, and fatigue.
- Proficiency in 2D CAD software, preferably Autodesk products. Experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exposure to quality systems such as ISO 9001 and experience in corrective action resolution.
- Experience with cable/umbilical design and manufacture or with subsea oil and gas, diving, seismic, defence, or special applications.
- Exposure to systems for control of engineering documentation (SolidWorks EPDM is an advantage).
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.

They are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover) and contribute to their continued growth and success.
