We are currently looking to recruit a Site Caretaker to join the Maintenance Team. This is a permanent role working 36.7 hours per week

Monday to Friday

Reporting directly to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager this role will provide overall support to the Maintenance Team, ensuring the site is kept in good condition and that checks of facilities are carried out and findings reported in a timely manner, assisting where possible with corrective actions.

Key responsibilities include;

Performing gardening and landscaping duties and where there is a requirement for additional support, Supervision of those carrying out tasks.
Building inspection, including (but not limited to), heating, cooling, lighting and alarm systems to ensure that they are in good working order and fit for purpose.
Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
Monitoring of cleaning materials, tools and furniture and reordering through the correct purchasing procedure as required.
Opening the building at the start of each working day and ensure windows and doors are locked when not in operations.
Adhering to the company's health and safety policies to create a safe working environment for all on site.
Contacting contractors for other site maintenance jobs when required, ensuring that departmental Directors and Manager are informed in a timely manner of any work being carried out and ensure the contractors have adhered to site Health and Safety policies and procedures.
