Senior Software Engineer – Dorchester – circa £55,000
Are you a certified LabVIEW Architect looking for a new challenge with interesting products with multiple uses from medical devices to automotive?
Would you like the chance to develop your software knowledge and career in a small but expanding friendly company?
Due to company growth, we are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer for a global supplier of ultrasound products.

This company are leaders in their field developing acoustic materials and ultrasound for a range of various industries including medical and automotive.

You will be joining a team of 5 engineers and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but established company which is part of a group of companies, with excellent employee retention.

The job role:
The Senior Software Engineer will have the following roles and responsibilities:

Architect and lead the development of high quality software applications in LabVIEW for ultrasonic measuring systems
Provide technical support to clients
Write technical software documentation
Mentor member of the software team to develop their LabVIEW skills
Liaise with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

* The Requirements:Ideally for the role of Senior Software Engineer you will have the following:

Degree qualified in STEM subject / discipline
Ideally 3 years or more designing applications using LabVIEW
You will be a Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA)
Experience working in a scrum framework
Knowledge and experience working with source code
Prior experience working within ultrasound would be very desirable but not essential

The Package:
For the position of Senior Software Engineer, you will receive the following remuneration:

Salary circa £45,000 - £55,000

* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
